In December, 2007, the Office of the Texas Secretary of State began developing a bilingual, statewide advertising and public education campaign to inform Texans of their voting rights. The initiative —You count. Texas makes sure. — utilizes television and radio, newspaper ads, brochures, posters and other collateral materials, as well as a more robust and comprehensive "Votexas.org" website.
On this and the following page (Television and Radio), you’ll find samples of the campaign materials. If you would like to know more about the initiative, please contact the Secretary of State’s office at 1-800-292-VOTE (8683). Thank you for your interest
